The earlier Craft Xplor (Black, Blaze, Multi) has a higher stack: 38.5mm heel / 32.5mm forefoot. This gives it a softer, more cushioned ride—great for longer runs or added comfort.
The newer version (Clay, Jade, Lazer) is slightly lower at 36mm/30mm, which offers a lighter, more responsive feel with better ground contact—ideal for everyday training or quicker runs.
Both have a 6mm drop, so the overall running mechanics stay similar—it really comes down to whether you want more cushion or more agility.

Perfect trail shoes
"Honestly, I returned the shoes. I loved the structure, the wide, cushiony sole and they had amazing grip. The problem was that I am running on a treadmill and not the trails, I didn’t realize that I had bought trail shoes! I am terrible at ordering online as I generally order before I read all of the details, I am my own worst enemy. However, I will be ordering another pair just as soon as my return is processed. The rubber outsole is outstanding,
"The rubber outsole is outstanding, and the upper is nice, it doesn't cause any hotspots or blisters. I bought this shoe for winter running. The upper lets the air through, so I wear waterproof socks when the temps are cold. The midsole material feels outdated, especially after running in the NB SC Trainer v3 before the winter. This shoe isn't soft or bouncy, which I'm used to in road shoes that use more modern materials."
