Vild 1 is a high-performance trail running shoe engineered to deliver speed, confidence, and control across rugged mountain terrain. Built for Alpine marathons, technical trails, and fast descents, this performance-driven trail shoe combines an updated Cr Foam™ midsole with a softer formula that provides an exceptional balance of lightweight cushioning, stability, and explosive energy return for a smooth yet responsive ride. A durable ripstop upper made with 12% recycled materials and reinforced with TPU overlays offers long-lasting protection and support, while the Vibram® Megagrip outsole delivers outstanding traction on both wet and dry surfaces. Finished with Craft Endurance Fit®, featuring a secure heel, locked-in midfoot, and spacious forefoot, Vild 1 provides the comfort, stability, and confidence needed to push the pace on demanding trails.

Toe rand delaminating

"I have maybe had these shoes 6 months and an wear them an average of 3 days a week and my use is light overall. I wear them to work in an office and so I've only walked in them. One of the shoes developed a "crease" in the toe of the shoe very early on and the rand has now began to delaminate at that crease. The other shoe didn't do this so I find this odd and disappointing for the price of these shoes. I will admit they have amazingly soft soles and are quite comfortable but after this experience I don't know that I will gamble my money on a defect like this occurring again."

"Fit was great, went up half a size. No issues with toe box being too tight. The stack height was excellent, with no loss of comfort when your foot strikes. The profile for this shoe was also good. So I had to buy a second pair."

Fast, light, responsive, stable tail shoe

"Absolutely love this shoe. My first Craft trail shoe but not my last. I have narrow feet and it fits nice and snug. True to size. Very grippy on technical trails and light on your feet. Ran a very technical 26 K in Mammoth in a brand new pair of shoes, and I loved them. No blisters, no hotspot and very stable. Very responsive on the street portions. Great shoe!"

Great trail shoe!

"I took the Vilds on a 6-mile backpacking trip in the North Cascades and loved how grippy and low-profile they felt on rocky, root-filled terrain. They provided great traction without feeling bulky—highly recommend! I’m typically a Women’s 10. 5 and found a Men’s 10 to be the perfect fit in the Vilds. For comparison, I wear a Men’s 9. 5 in other Craft shoes."
