Would be amazing shorts. . .
"If these came in a shorts-only option, without the bibs, they'd be perfect. But the bibs, well, at 5'8" (172 cm), the shoulder straps on the Medium are too tight and put a lot of downward force on your shoulders. Not sure I'd want that for more than a short ride. Definitely didn't enjoy it for the 3+ hour mountain tour. Also, the material of the shoulder straps is a single layer elastic, and it's kind of coarse. The edges were really uncomfortable up against my nipples, but I don't want to have to wear two shirts just to accommodate the bibs. Lastly, the bibs make it really hard to tend to personal bio necessities. These were my first pair of bibs, so maybe this is just a problem with all bibs, but How do you use facilities without taking your shirt off? Do all bibs make it this hard to just pull the front Down? I wanted to give these 3stars, but didn't want to penalize them just for being bibs, if all bibs are this way. It's almost a shame. The pad is the best I've owned, and I love all the pockets. The shorts themselves are 5-stars and would be my top of the line. The bibs just ruin it. As is, these will take a backseat to some shorts with pockets that were less than half the price. Their pad isn't as great, but they're vastly more comfortable and functional. If Craft makes these in a shorts-only model, I'll definitely buy more!"
