Nice shorts, enjoy the extra coverage
"I’m a lady runner who prefers a little more coverage than the average women’s running shorts provide and generally opt for men’s 2 in 1 shorts for the extra length on the inseam and modesty that the inner shorts provide. These are great. I can do stretches/plyos comfortably without worrying about showing too much skin. These fit true to size; I’m 5’ 1”, 128 lbs and a small fits great. My phone fits easily into the pocket on the inner shorts and the side pockets provide easy storage/access for lighter items."

Great Shorts, need some tweaks
"I purchased these shorts with the nicer weather coming. Haven’t fully tested them out on a long run yet, but noticed that the phone pocket on the liner sits in a very odd spot, on the front of the leg, not the side. This is a little distracting while running and not the most comfortable spot in the world for it. Also, it is on the left side, which is much more akward for me personally. Would love to see it moved to the right side, on the side of leg. Also, would like to see a zipper pocket for a couple of gels. Other than thaf, very comfortable."

Solid short for running and gym
"Extremely comfortable. Perfect for gym training and moderate trail running. Liner is breathable. Phone pocket is convenient but a bit awkward to access. Still appreciate it. Like the dark green color. Length is on the shorter side but not too short."

Go-to-shorts
"I own these in 3 colors. I switched from wearing Janji 5 inch shorts for years because of the awesome liner with a phone pocket. So comfy for long runs (50k trail no prob) and back pocket is secure for keys, card, etc. Feedback for the designers - please consider an XS. Men with 27-28 waist will not like these as much as other shorts out there. Also the drawstring needs improvement so it doesn't fall out. Perhaps a elastic tie with a spring cinch?"

Great, with a few things that are just ok
"Overall, really solid shorts. Nice inner liner, which seems to be the downfall of most on the market. The liner is shaped and appropriately supportive, so chafing is minimal or even avoided completely on long runs. Outer short is the right length for me (shorter than many others out there) but it's a little restrictive in the thigh opening and not as stretchy as I'd like. I don't like the hand pockets that stick out on the sides, there's no need for pockets like that on a running short."

Excellent running short
"I normally buy some no-name running shorts on Amazon with built in compression and a thigh pocket for a phone, but lately they have been getting older and I had some chaffing issues so I thought another brand might be in order. I ordered the rift color as they are a close match for my others in olive drab. First thing I noticed they were noticeably softer on my skin. Second thing I noticed was the phone pocket was against my left thigh versus the right, takes a little getting used to but. These Craft running shorts seem to get less heavy when I'm sweating during a long summer run. The phone pocket also holds a bit tighter which I like (I have a large S22 Ultra from Samsung). So far these shorts are certainly outperforming my previous ones. Two thumbs up!"
