"I'm about 205 lbs and 5'10" with size 12 foot. This shoe is a perfect fit, and has room for me to wear a heavier sock in the winter. I was worried it would run small and be too heavy. It is not. The Vitoria sole is excellent and I actually feel lighter on my feet because of the footprint these shoes make on the trail. The stack is perfect height not too short and not too tall. This is a really great shoe. Works great on granite and decomposed granite. Lightweight also for how much is put into every comfort it provides. Really happy I purchased these."

My new favorite shoes
"Won a pair of these from the Mammonth 50k strea,m. Wasnt expecting a lot but they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. These are the shoes I chose if my feet are sore because of the cushioning. Like the energy return of the foam. Only think I dont like are the colors. Wish they would make more size 13 because I would like to buy a couple pairs."

Great Grip and Foam
"Been runnimg and hiking with my Xplors. Nice road and trail feel. Climbed on sreep rocks in Zion and Joshua Tree NPs with no slipping and a solid grip. Running on roads has also been excellent. One thing i miss which is why i hit 4 stars ( would be 4. 75 if that was a choice) is the second eyelet to allow a tighter fit up top like my Craft road shoes have."

Took a chance on a long run with them essentially out of the box. . . and it worked out!
"I know the experts say not to take new shoes out on long runs, but I had a 27-mile adventure coming and my old gravel shoes were done for. I took these out after putting only 10 miles on them prior and am happy to say they worked great. They have been a great PNW gravel and light trail shoe, gripping through mud and on slick surfaces and remaining stable on rocks and roots. The cushioning gets me through longer runs without foot, knee or hip discomfort, without being too much. This fits all of the stableness and grip of a trail shoe with the comfort of a road shoe. And the colorway (I purchased the Cobalt/True Purple version) has gotten many compliments. These are so fun. I would buy these again and I'd recommend them to friends/family too, especially here in the rainy PNW."

Great out of the box
"Took them for a 4 miler out of the box on a typical California fire road (hilly, rocks and dirt and granite, not too technical) and they were superb. Bouncy, stable, speedy - hit my fastest pace in a few weeks even though I wasn’t pushing hard. These are excellent for what they’re marketed as - a gravel/road to trail shoe. I can’t speak to how they’d do on more technical trails although even on the short terrain where footing got a little tricky they handled with complete confidence. I’m a 2E in width so I sized up a half size - they’re maybe just a touch long but there’s a firm lockdown with no sliding and the width feels great without pinching, so if you have a wide foot I’d suggest going up a half size, but normal width is TTS."

Xplor 2 is awesome
"Last works great for narrow to medium width feet. Very stable platform and very grippy rubber compound. Impressed!"
