Craft shoes still prevent natural big toe position

"When the foot lands the big toe splays. At least allow it to land in a straight position. These shoes chafe the outside of my big toe and ultimately make my joints sore after longer efforts. The toe box doesn't need to be massive, but it should allow for a straight big toe position."

Wanted so bad for this to work

"The rubber is a major improvement. Midsole foam feels great. Good response in wet conditions now. The main issue lies in the new last shape. It is super high volume compared to the original Craft Trails. The tongue is minimal but because of the high volume you need to cinch down and almost overlap the eyelets. This then causes a gnarly hotspot over the front of my ankle because of the minimal tongue. tried different lacing and even tried to pad the lacing with silicone tubing - no dice. Super bummed out."

Decent trail shoe, main drawback is the tapering toebox

"Decent trail shoes. I like the outsole. I like the material of the upper. Nice solid hold over the top of the foot, though it comes up a little too high and rubs on my lateral malleolus and a little on the medial side as well. My main complaint is that the toebox is too tapered. I feel unpleasant pressure on the outside of my big toe given the shape of the toebox. I also think that the foam of the midsole is a little too firm."

Nice shoe, want a better upper and tongue especially

"Big fan of the outsole and midsole, I ride Vittoria's on my mtb so it's nice to match. The upper, especially the tongue doesn't feel like the highest quality, though it is pretty breathable and light. I'd personally prefer the tongue be a little heavier duty even if it was less breathable. The Swedish aglet is cute too."
