ADV Explore Light Down Jacket is a lightweight and packable insulated jacket designed to deliver reliable warmth across a wide range of outdoor adventures. Built for everything from hiking and camping to skiing and climbing, this versatile piece offers an excellent warmth to weight balance for chilly conditions without added bulk.
The jacket features lightweight 90 10 down insulation that provides efficient heat retention during cold weather activity. A water repellent ripstop shell made from recycled polyamide enhances durability and protection against light moisture. A tight fitting shaped hood and chin guard lined with brushed polyester jersey add comfort in colder conditions, while two side zip pockets and an inner zip pocket offer secure storage for personal items. Designed to pack easily into its own side pocket, this jacket works equally well as an outer layer or a mid layer when temperatures drop.

Sweet Tea and Advanced Explore Lt Down Jacket
"I picked up this Craft Advanced Explore jacket during an end-of-season sale and couldn't be happier with the purchase. At 6 feet tall and 190 lbs, the Large fits perfectly—not too snug, not too loose—just right for everyday wear. Right out of the box, I was impressed by the softness and quality of the material. It feels great to the touch and gives off a premium vibe. The zippers are smooth and sturdy, and the hood is thoughtfully designed, wrapping snugly around the head to block out wind, which came in handy on a 50°F day with gusts over 30 mph. The pockets are well-placed and practical. The main pockets easily hold my gloves or wallet, and the inner left breast pocket is spacious enough for a large smartphone—a feature I always appreciate. While it’s not a waterproof shell, I layered a rain jacket over it on a wet day, and it performed great. I stayed warm and dry without overheating, and the jacket layered well without bunching or restricting movement. I could see this working nicely as a mid-layer under a shell for skiing or other winter activities, though I primarily use it around town. Overall, this jacket nails the balance between function and casual style. Highly recommend if you're looking for a high-quality, versatile winter layer."

Great Jacket, small quality issue
"I am enjoying the coat. My only concern has been the loose strings I'm dealing with. When the coat is zipped up to my mouth the strings are literally at and around the zipper. It's a quality issue for Craft. These strings tickle my face and chin. Naturally I didn't know this until I was out running in the cold and couldn't do anything about it until I got home. There are still some small left over ends but they aren't tickling my face any more. It was a disappointment to deal with and a quality issue I would not expect from a brand like Craft. Would I recommend the jacket? HECK YEA! it's an awesome jacket. Soft light and great design. I ran in it. I hiked in it. It's been 15 degrees here and I'm out in this jacket and a pair of winter padded compression pants from Craft and I am warm, nimble and feel very comfortable. But Craft would be served well to inspect this issue. As a manufacturing executive myself these issue are addressable and from a CX perspective needs to be addressed"
