"Bought these because they came recommend from a friend. I’ve ran in a few other brands carbons but none of them have the energy return these do. These are by far the fastest shoe I’ve ever ran in. If you’re thinking about buying these - do it - you won’t regret it. I’ve got 50ish miles in them and honestly the sole and foam still looks brand new, I’m not sure why anyone is complaining about their longevity."

"Was never a big fan of longer runs till I got my feet into these. The cushion AND support is spot on. Never had this much stack before and was nervous but this is my new longer distance shoe."

"I really like the kype pro but the red color was not great. This new color is fantastic"

"Just tried mine and walked 2 miles to slightly break in for 2 miles and now they are ready for the Marathon in 8 days I am sure they will pass the ultimate test!!!!"

"The feel: The channel down the middle combined with the firmer Pebax foam really helped keep my footstrike centered all the way through each step. These definitely are not marshmallow soft like a lot of others (Pebax foam is not all the same), but these might be the type that takes 30 or so to break in. I don't get that feeling of having the shoes running for me, though they still responded when running near 5 min/mile pace. These are great for those with high cadence. The sole: Vittoria rubber is amazing. I trust it with my life descending mountains at 50+mph on my bike. It's grippy, durable, and light. That said, there's a good chunk of exposed foam I am not sure about just yet. The rubber covers the main contact points (forefoot and heel), and I've taken full exposed foam heel shoes to 250, so this should be fine. The midsole: The foam, as I mentioned before, is pretty firm. But it absolutely works with the shoe. The plate does it's job, but it isn't the type of plate that rolls you from heel to toe. I'm not sure this is the ideal heel strikers shoe, probably better for midfoot/forefoot runners. The upper: Love the aeromesh. Super breathable, and the tongue is fully connected, which makes sliding in easy. My only complaint here is that the forefoot is a smidge wide and I didn't get a compete lock down. Not an issue at half marathon or below, might have to keep any rub in mind if doing more though. Conclusion: This is one of the most comfortable out of the box super shoe I've run in. All around solid shoe. And if you have a little bit wider feet and have been looking for a more stable shoe, then give the Kype a try."
